In the heart of Brooklyn, New York, a visionary named Honey emerged from her early days as a manicurist. Starting at the tender age of 13, she discovered her true canvas: nails. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors around her and the magic of mixing nail polishes, Honey began to dream big. “Color ignites my creativity,” Honey shares, revealing the depth of her passion for color.

Honey’s journey led her to pioneer some of the most groundbreaking nail designs seen in the fashion industry, ranging from realistic band-aids to the intricate beauty of beetle wings. Her unique flair attracted an impressive roster of celebrities like Britney Spears, Ciara, Courtney Love, Dita Von-Teese, and Lana Del Rey, who she lovingly calls “honey” – a nickname that soon became her own. Two years ago, UN/DN LAQR had the honor of collaborating with Honey on a photoshoot, and it was clear we needed more of her exceptional talent, knowledge, and vibrant energy. Honey’s influence in the nail world is unparalleled, with her designs featured in print ads, editorials, TV commercials, and fashion runways. She’s contributed her vision to campaigns for leading brands like BCBG Max Azria, Bloomingdales, Coach, and Hermes, and her work has graced the pages of top magazines including Allure, Vogue, and W.
